Mrs. Meggs began her theatre career at a very young age as an ensemble member in local theatre troupes in upstate New York.  Her first big break was Snow in Jingle Bells Jury in middle school.  From there, she has gone on to be a principal role in many productions including: Oklahoma!, The Nerd, Lucky Stiff, Hairspray, Kiss Me, Kate, Hamlet, and many more.

She received her bachelor's degree from Western Carolina University in Spanish Education and her master's degree from Emerson College in Theatre Education.

She has worked with many local theatres in Atlanta and taught at North Cobb High School for 4 years before moving to Boston.  Mrs. Meggs is excited to return to Atlanta as a theatre teacher for Sweetwater Middle School.

For the school, she not only teaches, but she is also the director for the Sweetwater Players, a member of the International Junior Thespian Society.

Mrs. Meggs is also happily married to her high school sweetheart and they have the silliest cat imaginable, Buncombe.
